Principal's Message

Dear Parent,

I am proud to be leading this unique school into an educational programme of high academic achievement, meaningful extra-curricular activities and new student leadership opportunities - all built on the values of independent and life-long learning.

Cambridge International School for Girls (CISG) provides the National Curriculum for England and Wales, delivered in English by mostly native speakers. It has a thriving Kindergarten and primary School, both based around the Early Years emergent curriculum. Our expanding Secondary School is for girls only, further enabling strong academic focus and achievement. The new purpose-built Secondary block, to open shortly, has spacious studios for Art, Drama and Music, a Secondary Library and Year 12 Study, a gym and sparkling new classrooms and laboratories; this facility is a signal to our school community that we are serious about preparing our Secondary girls for a bright academic future.

IGCSE and A levels are delivered through the Cambridge International Examinations Board, known for its rig our, its encouragement of independent, critical thinking and its fair assessment procedures. The curriculum is wide-reaching and demanding and we embrace the goal of achieving against a gold-standard which is internationally recognised. Our teachers, already well qualified and experienced, attend additional training delivered by the Cambridge Board to enhance their understanding and delivery of the syllabus.

Three years old or 18 years old - all our students are happy, relaxed, secure and keen.

You are welcome to call or come and visit us and see how life at CISG is moving forward.

Yours faithfully,

Margaret Beresford
